To solve this problem, the municipality of Eilat restricts parking along the southern coastal strip at night, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The restriction extends from the border crossing in Taba to the port of Eilat, and also includes the dirt fields in front of the coral reserve (near the Isrotel Yam Sof hotel) and near the water park and the entrance to Nahal Shlomo.
If you are interested in visiting Eilat in your car and crossing the border to Sinai, there is an excellent option to park your car in the long-term parking lot located in the northern area of the old airport (6 Durban Street). The parking lot has about 2,000 parking spaces, which allows you to leave your vehicle in a safe and secure place and enjoy your vacation without worries.
